Liverpool fans will be desperate to bounce back from their 1-1 draw against Leicester City last Wednesday when they face West Ham tonight in the Premier League. The London Stadium isn’t an easy place to go, however, with Jurgen Klopp’s team news confirming that James Milner is back, the fans are delighted.

James Milner has proven time and time again that he can be relied upon by Jurgen Klopp. The veteran midfielder has become the ultimate utility man at Anfield and the Reds will be delighted to have him back after he served a one-game suspension against Leicester last time out. However, whilst the fans are glad to have him back, they hope he won’t be thrown in at right-back for this one.
The 33-year-old spent a whole season fielded at left-back before Klopp signed Andy Robertson so the Gemrna gaffer isn’t afraid to field Milner out of position, but the Reds really don’t want to see their workhorse midfielder used anywhere other than in central midfield. They may have little choice, though, as Trent Alexander-Arnold is still out for this one, even if he is close to a return.

The Kopites are buzzing to have Milner available but will all be hoping he’s not used as a right-back for the clash.
