Liverpool fans on Twitter calling for Wilson masterclass at Old Trafford

Young Liverpool loanee Harry Wilson scored his first goal for Derby on Saturday and the club have mentioned his first goals for The Rams in their loan watch on the Liverpool website. Next up for Wilson, though, is a trip to Old Trafford in the Carabao Cup and the supporters are desperate to see Frank Lampard’s side get one over United, with a Harry Wilson goal the ideal way to win.

Wilson was the pick of the Liverpool loanees after his goal on the weekend and he managed to pull Derby County level against Brentford before eventually going on to win 3-1. The fans will be delighted that Wilson has got his first goal for Lampard and they’ll be desperate for his second to follow up later today as they aim to see Jose Mourinho embarrassed by his former player Lampard in the cup.

Some fans have been questioning why Wilson was allowed to leave on loan. A lot of the supporters believe that the youngster has what it takes to fight for a place in The Reds squad and even if he is only limited to a spot on the bench and starts in the Carabao and FA Cups then so be it. Next season will probably be the one for Wilson and he’ll be keen to take his moment tomorrow when he’s in the spotlight tonight at Old Trafford.
