This pre-season has shed a lot of light on some of the fringe players in Jurgen Klopp’s squad. Some of the younger players have earned themselves the opportunity to be in the senior squad whilst some of the bigger names have put themselves in contention to start. Daniel Sturridge is one of those and a lot of Reds believe he should be in the eleven against West Ham on Sunday.
Sturridge would be starting for any other club after the pre-season he's had. He'll get minutes and be crucial for us if he stays fit. Fact.

The England striker notched again in pre-season yesterday, scoring the Reds final goal in the 3-1 win over Torino at Anfield. Liverpool took the lead halfway into the first half when Roberto Firmino notched in the 21st minute before Georginio Wijnaldum doubled their advantage just three minutes later. Torino’s star striker, Andrea Belotti cut the deficit in half just after the half-hour mark but in truth, Liverpool were always comfortable and Sturridge’s late goal ensured the win.
After a brilliant pre-season has seen Jurgen Klopp’s side overcome Napoli, Torino, Manchester United and Manchester City, the fans will be buzzing to his the ground running on Sunday. Sturridge could be the surprise inclusion in the eleven to face the Hammers after his superb displays this summer, the 28-year-old striker has shown heart and desire to fight his way back into contention and with his willingness to drop into midfield to help the team, it would be a shock if Klopp didn’t use him this season.

With more or less 70 games to play. We need everyone. So I am very happy when i look at bench. The main thing for sturidge is to stay fit and enjoy to be in the team.

A big IF but would be wonderful. He has talent and an eye for goal.

Happy Klopp is tailoring a special fitness plan for him, just to have him fit and free from injuries, similar to what Ledley King had at Tottenham

Looks fitter and leaner than I've seen him for years. Just hope he stays injury free because he will bag goals

As you can see, the Liverpool fans want to Sturridge just as much as Sturridge wants to be playing.
