Last season, when Liverpool were at their very best, it was when they had the energetic and influential Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain making things happen in the middle of the park with his direct running and ability to carry the ball into the final third. The Reds are missing the 25-year-old at the moment and will be delighted when he’s back.
Having this man back before the end of the season would be huge!

The latest update that was given on Oxlade-Chamberlain came around this time last week when the club confirmed that if the midfielder keeps progressing in the way he has over the last few weeks then he should be fit and ready to compete in the Premier League towards the end of the season, although no return date has pencilled as they aim to let him get back to full fitness in his own time.
The chances of the ex-Arsenal man returning in time for Bayern Munich in the Champions League are extremely slim, but if the Reds can get past their German opponents in the round of sixteen of the competition then the Ox will be hopeful of returning for at least the second leg of the quarter-finals, and he could be the boost they need in Europe if they want to go one better than last season’s defeat in the final.

Returns in the champions league final as a sub, scores the winner, walks over to Ramos and knocks him clean out.

Great player but I think unless is fully fit, he should to be in contention.

The Reds have been buzzing to see Chamberlain return, and whilst they still have some time to wait, his return is now something they can actively look forward to.
