Liverpool fans on Twitter have their say on Andy Robertson’s current value

Yesterday’s Premier League clash between Liverpool and Manchester United was a classic. The Reds were looking to go 17 games unbeaten and had Jose Mourinho in their way, however, it was Jurgen Klopp’s side, with the inspirational Andy Robertson at the back, who got the win and now the fans have been discussing the left-back’s current value.

After the game, whilst obviously still working over the 3-1 away defeat in his head, Jose Mourinho was full of praise for Andy Robertson and seemed genuinely shocked by the work rate of the Scottish defender, who did what he always does, tirelessly getting up and down the left flank at Anfield and making himself a nuisance to the opposition in both defender and attack.

After his incredible display earned him the praise of Mourinho, Anfield HQ, a Liverpool fan page, took to Twitter to ask the fans just how much the Scotland captain is worth. In today’s market, and given that £50 million is a sum to have been splashed on a full-back, the Kopites can’t be too far wrong with shouts of up to £100 million, and that’s exactly what they came back with.
