Some Liverpool fans on Twitter have been getting themselves into a panic over the upcoming season. The club has strengthened their midfield ten-fold this summer but the fans are worried about who they’ll be playing between the sticks. Loris Karius has got the faith of no one and until Jurgen Klopp signs a ‘keeper the fans won’t be happy.
My hunch is that we'll get Shaqiri and Fekir. There simply isn't any interest in anybody else, although it may go down to the wire. That'll be end of summer business, bar multiple loans out of the club.

In his two-year spell at Anfield, Loris Karius has shown all of the fans what they don’t want in a goalkeeper. The German has looked shaky with the ball at his feet, shown poor distribution, looked weak when trying to claim crosses and his shot-stopping isn’t something to be desired. To be fair to the 25-year-old, his Belgian colleague, Simon Mignolet isn’t much better though and the fans have been calling for a new goalkeeper for a while now.
This summer had so many Kopites believing that they’d be in the market for a goalkeeper. It looked written in the stars for Roma’s Alisson Becker to sign but it’s all fallen apart and now it seems Karius will be starting at Anfield again in the Premier League. The German even started as he left off when returning to pre-season, costing his side a goal in the 3-2 win over Tranmere when he failed to claim a simple free-kick, instead parrying it out to an on-rushing striker.
You can see what the Reds on Twitter make of their goalkeeping situation here:
This has always been our issue…. such a great opportunity to challenge next season… but we hold off. Just go all out and buy a gk. Seriously, are we worried about spending 60 million pounds l? What about the financial return if we do win the pl?? It's so annoying

That's all I see too. Don't see a keeper coming. Hope I'm wrong though lol.

Nice…but, but a goalie? Karius will never shake this off at Liverpool, the club and him need a fresh start

If we don’t get a keeper write off the year before it starts I’m afraid. Simple as!

Don’t really need either…. out and out class striker and a top stopper yes!!

I’d rather we just play 11 outfield players and keep Karius washing the bus

Most of the Liverpool fans on Twitter are keen to get a goalkeeper in this summer, no matter how unrealistic that may seem at the moment.
