Liverpool fans have done a brilliant job of getting through this weekend without succumbing to the antagonising tweets from rival supporters, reminding them that it’s five years since Steven Gerrard’s infamous slip. Even Chelsea’s official Twitter account tweeted it, and young Bobby Duncan in the LFC academy had the perfect response.
Safe trip back to London https://t.co/Y74d1riDwS

The Reds couldn’t believe how badly Bobby Duncan put the Blues in their place with just a five-word tweet. The young Kopite, who has been in banging form at Anfield at age group level, simply quoted Chelsea’s tweet after the game was done and dusted and Liverpool had won 2-0 and he put the simple message ‘Safe trip back to London’ reeling in loads of Liverpool fans backing him.
All that the Reds need now is for the youngster to make it at Anfield and become a hero on the pitch to match the status that he’s made for himself as a hero off of it. The 17-year-old switched last summer from Man City’s youth academy to Anfield and has become a revelation for the Reds, with plenty of them expecting him to rise up to the senior side as Rhian Brewster has done since swapping Chelsea for Liverpool.

Duncan’s already won over the Liverpool fans and he’s yet to play a single minute of first team action, so the only way is up for the youngster now.
