Liverpool fans on Twitter prepared to give Clyne a run out

Last night saw Liverpool fall to just the third defeat of the season. It’s fair to say no one would have expected Red Star Belgrade, or Crvena Zvezda as they’re now known, to inflict Jurgen Klopp his third defeat of the season and in the aftermath of the game The Reds have been calling for Nathaniel Clyne to be given a run in the side, especially with Trent Alexander-Arnold’s current form.
Is it time Clyne gets a few games at right-back?

Nathaniel Clyne was signed at Liverpool by Brendan Rodgers ahead of the 2015/16 season and in his first couple of seasons, he was absolutely solid. The ex-Southampton man was one of the most consistent men in the Liverpool team as Klopp took over and started turning it into a side that would be better at implementing his style. However, in the last couple of years injuries have hit Clyne hard and now he finds himself as less than even a fringe man.
The right-back is still only 27-years-old and should be approaching his peak as a player. However, with both Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez ahead of him in the Liverpool pecking order and Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier keeping him out if the England picture, Clyne’s future is uncertain. Now, though, The Kopites are calling for Clyne to start and if he can get back in the side and do himself justice then there’s no reason why he can’t play his way back into contention both at club level and internationally.
You can read The Reds’ thoughts on Clyne here:
With Trent looking exhausted and Matip not performing, it's worth to give Clyne some running.

Clyne is a decent 7 out of 10 player and never let us down. He should get a chance

Yea, give Trent a little breather and Clyne some much needed game time

That’s if we know what’s going on with him first. Strange situation giving that he was a decent defender

For sure, he was always relatively consistent for us so why not! Can cross them better than TAA too tbh

Defo. Clyne at RB and bring Henderson back in when he's fit.

The Reds would love to see Clyne back in the side and will hope he can capitalise on TAA’s awful form as of late.
