Andrew Robertson can quite often go under the radar for his performances. The Scottish defender has proved his worth more than a few times since he swapped Hull for Liverpool and the fans will be delighted to hear that he’s been nominated for the Champions League Player of the Week award after his display against Napoli on Tuesday.

Robertson is one who always puts in 110% whenever he steps out onto the pitch, and his efforts are only just starting to be rewarded at the club. The Anfield faithful love having the 24-year-old down the left-flank and the way he gets forward and influences play at both ends of the pitch is something that serves a great benefit to Jurgen Klopp’s side, and considering his age, he has a lot of time to improve and up his game even further.
Loads of Liverpool fans have been lauding Robertson very highly for his display in general and after his outing against Napoli on Tuesday evening he deserved a lot of credit, although he wasn’t publicly given it as the likes of Mo Salah and Alisson Becker were the two who were being lauded for the well-taken goal and game-saving stop respectively. However, overall, it was Robertson who deserves the lion’s share of the praise, and this nomination has seen him get that.
