Loris Karius is a shadow of the player he was in the months leading up to the Champions League final in May. A lot of Liverpool fans were convinced that the German had put his mistakes behind him and was ready to step up, however, he then suffered that night in Kiev and now it seems he doesn’t have a future at Anfield as The Mirror report he close to a loan move to Besiktas.
Loris Karius could still be on the move before the end of the month https://t.co/I0TUyJvSuj

After signing Alisson Becker from Roma earlier in the summer it was made pretty clear that one of Karius or Simon Mignolet would be leaving the club to chase first-team football and it now seems that both could leave. Alisson will be the undisputed number one at Anfield and it looks like Jurgen Klopp will finally have a team that is capable of competing all over the pitch now he’s secured the Brazilian’s signature.
Unfortunately, that means that one of his other keepers will be leaving. Danny Ward left for Leicester in a deal worth over £12 million, leaving just three senior options at the club. That being said, a lot of fans will be hoping that Klopp can force one of the club’s younger goalkeepers into the senior squad to be the third choice if they are to see off Karius to Istanbul in the last days of the European transfer window.

Not a bad idea. They can have him for free.

The fans are all in agreement that a move away would be best for Karius and they’ll be hoping that if it is a loan deal then he can regain some confidence in his time away.
