Liverpool are blessed with probably the most dangerous attack in the Premier League — perhaps even in world football.
In Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, Jurgen Klopp has an attacking trio that simply cannot be contained.
But as well as the three elite forwards, the German coach also has the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri and Daniel Sturridge to call upon with the latter having joined the club on this exact day six years ago.
Unfortunately for the 29-year-old, though, those six years have been plagued by injury, limiting his impact.
This season, however, Sturridge has been able to stay fit and has had a bit of a revival, scoring some big goals for Liverpool against Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
And with the games coming thick and fast during this part of the campaign, the English striker could yet be given more chances in the first team should Klopp decide to rest one of his starting forwards.
Have a look at what Liverpool supporters are saying about Sturridge below…

Arguably one of the most talented forwards in the world!

People forget how good he was, a prime Sturridge was lethal

He should be encourage to stay at LFC. I believe he will improve and be a tough, aggressive, not easy to beat by opponent, deadly in front of goals and a very brilliant striker. He is talented.

He is a rare player who has so many beautiful goals. Unlucky he is injury prone

Super subs in every crucial game.

That chip against Newcastle is still my favorite Sturridge goal. How I wish we can see more of those beauties more regularly.
