Liverpool fans on Twitter urge club not to sell Wijnaldum

Liverpool is a great place to be at the moment. The fans haven’t come down from the high of signing the World’s most expensive goalkeeper and a lot of people are tipping hem to win the Premier League. However, the club posted a video of Georginio Wijnaldum as he took the fans on a tour of Melwood ahead of the Reds tour to America and the fans are adamant that Gini should not be sold.

The Liverpool midfield has got a lot of dynamism to it, the club have a lot of strong players who are capable of winning games by themselves. Naby Keita and Fabinho have been added this summer and some fans believed that the club may be preparing to sell one of their stars, however, there isn’t a single Liverpool fan who wants to see Wijnaldum sold.

The Dutchman joined Anfield from St James Park back in summer 2016 and since then, Liverpool’s number five hasn’t looked back. At the age of just 27, Wijnaldum has plenty of years of talent left in him and considering how loved he is by the fans at Anfield it would be a real shock to see him leave. His performances on the pitch speak do the talking for the humble midfielder and his eight goals and 15 assists in 92 games for Liverpool from centre-midfield are proof enough that he’s Liverpool quality.
