Liverpool fans on Twitter were livid that Fabinho only managed 15 minutes

It’s pretty nailed on now that as far as holding midfielders at Anfield go, Fabinho is head and shoulders above the rest. It also seems as though Jurgen Klopp doesn’t know that either, as the German continues to play Jordan Henderson in the big games, and it took until the 76th minute yesterday until Fabinho was introduced.
76' – A double substitution for the Reds. Fabinho and Origi replace Henderson and Milner.

At that stage in the clash when Klopp finally looked to his bench to make a change, his side had surrendered their 1-0 lead and were looking bleak and out of ideas with just over ten minutes on the clock. As it happened, the away side would shoot themselves in the foot spectacularly, but that doesn’t change the fact that the Reds were fuming that it went so close and that Henderson again played.
The England man may be the skipper at Anfield, but when it comes to a direct comparison between himself and Fabinho, there really is no competition as the ex-Monaco man wipes the floor with the experienced Anfield star. Between now and the season’s end, the Reds will be desperate for Klopp to favour his Brazilian over his skipper, and whilst there are no guarantees it will happen, it would enable the Reds to breathe a lot easier.

They had to score for Fabinho to come on. I’m absolutely fuming.

Fabinho should’ve been brought on at Half time. Klopp always leaves his subs too late.

Take Henderson off earlier and preferably never start that useless *****! Nearly cost us points again!

The Reds will be desperate for Fabinho to be their man in their next outing against Southampton this Friday and hate the fact that Henderson is ever preferred to start ahead of the Brazilian.
