As you can probably imagine, a lot of Liverpool fans will be screwing after drawing 0-0 at Goodison Park yesterday. The Reds extended their unbeaten run in Merseyside derbies to 19 games, yet they also failed to regain top spot in the Premier League and the supporters have been slating Jurgen Klopp for his negative and uninfluential substitutions.
Thoughts on Klopp’s substitutions today?

As a fan, seeing the right player being prepped and readied to come into the action can give you the same buzz that a promising counter-attack does, and when you’ve got players like Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri and Roberto Firmino to call upon from the bench you can understand the excitement. However, despite the scoreline in yesterday’s clash, only one of that trio made it onto the field.
Instead, Klopp looked to his bench and decided to throw James Milner and Adam Lallana into the fold ahead of Keita and Shaqiri. Marco Silva and the Everton fans would have been breathing a serious sigh of relief when they realised they wouldn’t have to deal with the Reds at their creative best, yet the Kopites will be lamenting that decision as it may just have cost them two points, and even bigger than that the Premier League title.

Yeah when we are crying out for a creative midfielder to try and break thru why doesn’t Klopp bring on Keita or Shaqiri?
— Mark Watson (@Marky2211) March 3, 2019
Disrespectful, Keita and Shaq must be fumin

Terrible! Trying to win the game and we have not one greative midfielder on. Shaq or Naby must come on to give us a spark. Milner was woeful

Negative and boring as per usual!

Too conservative, same last Sunday. Picking experience over form.

Stubborn German is costing us big time…

The Reds could not believe what Klopp was doing as they played out their 4th draw in six games in the league and will be fuming to have missed out on top spot.
