Liverpool fans will always admire and adore Steven Gerrard. The scouse legend will be viewed as one of the two best players to ever pull on a Liverpool shirt alongside Sir Kenny Dalglish. However, his playing days are behind him and he’s now taking his first steps in management with Rangers.
SG: I wish Liverpool all the best this season, everyone knows I’m a huge @LFC supporter and I wish them all the best for the coming season. They have a great squad and manager.

Now that Rangers have Gerrard in charge, the Reds will be keeping an eye on the results at Ibrox and will be hoping that the Bluenoses can come out from Celtic’s shadow this season to win some silverware. It’s a tough ask for Rangers to win a trophy this season, especially given this is one of the best every Celtic sides who are fresh off the back of Scottish football’s first ever double-treble.
It’s possible, though, and Gerrard will be drawing strength from the support he’s receiving from both Rangers and Liverpool fans as he looks to overcome his former boss, Brendan Rodgers. It will be a tough ask but with the way he’s recruited this summer and the way he looks to have his side playing, there’s no telling what the scene in Scottish football will look like when May comes around.
