Liverpool: Fans react as Jurgen Klopp delivers Matip injury update

Many Liverpool fans have been talking about the latest injury update that Jurgen Klopp has provided ahead of the Reds’ Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Athletic’s Liverpool-oriented journalist James Pearce tweeted about Klopp’s update ahead of the game against Spurs. The German manager has said that the Liverpool physios are working 24 hours to nurse Joel Matip’s back problem, so that they can get the defender fit for the game against Jose Mourinho’s side.
Can Liverpool beat Spurs without Matip?
Yes

No

Matip was taken off in the second half by Klopp in Liverpool’s recent 1-1 draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday. After the game, the manager had said that Matip has a chance of featuring against Spurs (as per the Daily Mail).
If Matip is out injured, the Reds would be without a single fit senior centre-back for the big game on Wednesday. Virgil van Dijk ruptured his cruciate ligament and is expected to return in April. Joe Gomez, on the other hand, is expected to recover from a patella problem in June.
Pearce’s tweet carrying Klopp’s quotes about Matip’s fitness drew the attention of many Liverpool fans, who gave their opinion about the news, and it certainly doesn’t all make pretty reading for Matip.
What did Liverpool fans make of Klopp’s comments regarding Matip?
all I’ll say is ever since that physio from Arsenal came our players have been spending more time on the treatment table than playing

This doesn’t sound good at all. He might have to sit this one out. If we had 5 subs we could risk it, but with 3 there is no point as we will certainly have to bring him off in the game.

Sounds like he’ll be off by HT again if he does start

Sigh… There’s still hope at least

This is pathetic. Has he ever played 10 consecutive matches for us? He’s a fine CB but his fitness is worse than mine.
