After both missing out on last week’s 4-1 win at home to Cardiff due to minor hamstring injuries, Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita have once again been ruled out of the upcoming fixture.
The pair will be missing out on a crunch game between two of the top four, as Klopp’s men make the trip to the capital to face an Arsenal side unbeaten in their last 13 matches in all competitions.
Their absence, alongside Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s long-term injury, leaves Fabinho, James Milner, Georginio Wijnaldum and Adam Lallana to contend for a place in the starting midfield, as the Merseyside giants seek to take the outright lead in the Premier League table ahead of Manchester City, who entertain struggling Southampton at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Unsurprisingly, the recent injury update has provoked quite a response from Liverpool fans on Twitter, with plenty of them looking on the bright side, as it will provide opportunities for other players to stake a claim for a regular first team spot…

I hope Fabinho and Shaqiri will start against Arsenal tomorrow…

Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Shaqiri?

While a couple of other fans feel that, in their captain’s absence, they are a better side to face Arsenal…
Pls henderson should just be choping bench from now on

Henderson is such an average player. Why did Klopp, who I think is a genius give him 5 more years at LFC?

One fan even implied Henderson and Keita’s unavailability will actually benefit Liverpool…
We're winning for sure
