Many Liverpool fans have been talking about the future of ostracised defender Sepp van den Berg.
According to Neil Jones of Goal, the Reds are prepared to let the 19-year-old leave in search of regular first-team opportunities, having held talks with three different clubs over a possible loan move.
The report added that those clubs concerned are from Belgium, Germany and Switzerland, with a deal likely to be agreed soon.
Is Sepp van den Berg good enough for Liverpool?
Taking all of the above into the account, this helped segments of the Kop faithful conclude that he is “not good enough” to play for the club – with these fans discussing the player and his possible exit, which some think will be the best move for both parties.
“What happened to this kid? He was supposed to be the next VvD”
“If he can’t start when we have 0 fit senior centrebacks, just get rid of him permanently”
“Aye he hasn’t blossomed just yet for me”
“You know it ain’t happening at Liverpool if you’re a CB and we’re loaning you out right now”
“This is both wonderful and awful. Wonderful because the lad gets experience. Awful because we’re getting rid of another CB”
“Not like he was ever good enough”
