Plenty of Liverpool fans have been reacting to a report that suggests that the Reds will be spending big in order to bring their three top targets to the club, according to the Express.
The Reds are on the brink of winning their first Premier League title in 30 years as they sit 25 points clear at the top of the standings ahead of Manchester City. If the Reds secure the title, this should open the door for manager Jurgen Klopp to make some new additions to his ranks, those being RB Leipzig ace Timo Werner, Norwich City’s Todd Cantwell and Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.
The report also suggests that the youngsters coming through the ranks at Melwood will be prioritised if they are worthy of a run in the first-team. Despite this, supporters were not convinced due to their transfer activity in the past few windows, with their net spend at just £67m, as per Empire of the Kop.

I don’t think Klopp has ever spent big just for the sake of it. VVD and Alisson were vital, justified exceptions. Cantwell is the only realistic signing I would expect (if we don’t lose any of first XI). Sancho we should go for as he will improve any of our rivals but unlikely

We’ve been hearing this for the last 4 windows only to be hugely underwhelmed. Hopefully this time it’s true and we actually do invest heavily to build a squad capable of winning 4-5 trophies a season
