Liverpool: Fans salivate over transfer update involving Renato Sanches

Many Liverpool fans have been reacting in excitement over the transfer update regarding Lille midfielder Renato Sanches.

The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield in recent weeks as the future of Georginio Wijnaldum remains unclear.

Sanches had a brief stint at former Premier League side Swansea City but only made 15 appearances during the 2017/18 campaign (TransferMarkt).

However, according to Tutto Mercato Web (via Anfield Edition), Liverpool have already agreed a fee of around £18m for the Portugal international, who has scored just once from 10 outings in all competitions this season.

Despite his relative struggles, these supporters were excited about the possibility of Sanches moving to Anfield as they seemingly believe that Jurgen Klopp can mould him into an Anfield great.
