Liverpool fans take to Twitter begging for Werner transfer - Bundesliga

Timo Werner is a man who just scores goals. The young German would fit in at Liverpool perfectly simply seeing as he makes finishing look easy and the Reds create loads of chances. Rumours from Bild were circulated by the Metro and claimed Werner could be the next Anfield man for just £36 million, and the fans would love to see it happen.

A popular Liverpool fan account, Empire of the Kop, took to Twitter to ask the fans who they would sign in the current transfer window if they could bring in just one player, and the response from the supporters was Timo Werner. The German front-man has an offer on the table from RB Leipzig to extend his current contract, but he could have his head turned if Jurgen Klopp was to make a move.

Klopp has been linked to a lot of Germans since he took up the reigns at Anfield, although if he signed Werner he would be just the second German to sign under Klopp, following in the footsteps of Loris Karius. The 22-year-old would be hopeful of doing a better job if he was to sign for the club, though, and the fans would all be confident of him making a huge impact if he decides to swap the Bundesliga for the Premier League between now and January 31st.

The Kopites would love to sign Werner to provide extra cover for their current front three and to add even more goals to their already free-scoring side.
