Liverpool fans take to Twitter to call for bans on trouble making supporters in Barcelona

Liverpool fans will be getting ready for a massive Champions League clash against Barcelona later, but the way that their fans have been behaving in the build-up to the game is awful. Six men believed to be Liverpool fans have been arrested, as confirmed by Merseyside Police, and Liverpool have released a statement condemning their acts.

Liverpool supporters proudly sing about having ‘conquered all of Europe’ and it seems that there is a small minority of travelling fans who have let down the collective.
The majority of Liverpool fans have got the intelligence and ability to refrain from doing these stupid things, and for that reason, they won’t be receiving lengthy stadium bans and getting arrested. However, because of the minority, those well-behaved, respectful fans are being tarred with the same brush because of the team they support. For that reason, loads of Reds have been taking a real hardline stance against the idiots in Barcelona, and they’re calling for bans.
You can read those Kopites’ calls here:
Ban them for life.

Yep ban those so called “fans” that were involved, they are not the true definition of what our fanbase and club stands for

Ban please. Such people tarnish the image of this club.

Ban them for life. No other option.

Thank you @LFC, I was completely embarrassed and ashamed by these clowns behaviour. As already said by others, lifetime ban would be well deserved.

The Reds are desperate to see the idiots amongst them handed strict punishments and bans, and will hope that they can beat Barcelona and fly back to Merseyside with no further incident.
