Liverpool fans take to twitter to demand more minutes for Daniel Sturridge

Liverpool fans on Twitter always have something to say, and even this week with no club action to get behind they’ve been as vocal as ever. This time, though, they’ve been reacting to training pictures and are all desperate to see a lot more of Daniel Sturridge when they return to first-team action against Tottenham this Sunday.

Sturridge has been a loyal servant to the Reds ever since he made the witch to Anfield back in January 2013, and that remains unchanged this season. The former England striker may be a million miles away from an England call-up at the moment, but he still has what it takes to score goals in the Premier League and the Reds know that, as they’ve been calling for him to feature more.
Jurgen Klopp has his famed front-three of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, but with Firmino struggling for form and goals at the moment, it wouldn’t hurt anyone to see the Kopites bring in an actual striker as opposed to their half #9-half #10. That’s where Sturridge comes in, and the Reds would love nothing more than to see him outshine Harry Kane and grab a goal or two at Anfield when Spurs come to play in just three days time.

Studge to bang one in off the bench to win the title vs Wolves. You heard it here first.

The Kopites would love nothing more than to see Sturridge shining off the bench during the rest of the title run-in, and it would be great to see him add to his two Premier League goals in the next eight games.
