Liverpool fans want history to repeat itself against Watford

Liverpool are set to take on Watford later this evening in a crucial game for the Reds. Of course, every Premier League game between now and the end of the season is vitally important, given the improving form of Man City, but Watford have proven to be a particularly robust team so far this term.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are on the back of a 0-0 draw against Man Utd, and so a win would help to put them back on track, and it’s fair to say that a lot of Liverpool fans are hoping for history to repeat itself against the Hornets, at least judging by the comments on a recent post by the club over on Twitter.

Liverpool recently shared a video of Mo Salah in action against Watford, with the Egyptian enjoying a fantastic run of form against the Hornets. Indeed, in his last 3 games against the team, he’s bagged a brilliant 6 goals.

Of course, this is coming off the back of an underwhelming display against Man Utd. Salah was effectively shut out by the Red Devils as he tuned in perhaps his worst performance of the season so far.

That hasn’t dulled the expectation of many Liverpool fans online, though, with lots hoping for a return to form from their fantastic Egyptian. See below:
