Liverpool fans want to see Fabinho’s full debut against Cardiff

On Saturday, Jurgen Klopp threw Fabinho into the action in the Premier League for the first time. With Adam Lallana suffering from cramp and 20 minutes left to play against Huddersfield, Fabinho was given his Premier League debut and now a lot of Liverpool fans have been calling for him to make his full debut next weekend.

Fabinho is quite clearly a cracking player. His ability on and off the ball will be extremely useful Klopp’s side when he properly finds his feet but until then the Reds are just going to have to be patient. They have complete faith in their eccentric German gaffer and will trust him to get it right eventually with Fabinho, even if it that has meant waiting five months for his Premier League debut since signing him back in May.

So far this season, Georginio Wijnaldum has been trusted to play in defensive midfield a lot of the time and the Dutchman is yet to let down his manager or his teammates whilst occupying the role. It would be unfair to drop the ex-Newcastle man on current form and he only missed out against Huddersfield due to not being 100% fit. If he’s recovered for Cardiff next week it could present Klopp with a selection headache, although the Kopites are pretty convinced that it should be their new Brazilian man given the start.
