Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to show their class in support of injured Manchester City man, Kevin De Bruyne. The Manchester City and Belgium midfielder could be out for up to three months with a knee injury and the Reds have been wishing him well in his recovery. Fans can read about the 27-year-old’s layoff on the BBC.
The news of Kevin De Bruyne potentially being out for three months is awful, wouldn't wish an injury on anyone. Get well soon @DeBruyneKev!

Kevin De Bruyne was caught in a two-horse race for the Premier League player of the year award although it did eventually go to Mo Salah of Liverpool. Despite that, there’s no doubting that the Belgian had an unbelievable season, scoring eight goals and assisting a further 16 in his 37 Premier League outings, however, he may have to wait a while before scoring or setting up another goal as he could be facing three months on the sidelines.
The news will come as bad news to Manchester City fans, who heavily relied on De Bruyne to make them tick last season, even if they do have plenty of other megastars in their squad who they can rely on. A lot of fans are of the opinion that Liverpool and Manchester City will be the two at the top this season and whilst the injury to De Bruyne could swing the title odds in Jurgen Klopp’s favour, the fans aren’t prepared to lose their class and will be keen to wish the Belgian a speedy recovery.

The supporters will be desperate to usurp De Bruyne and co as champions, but would never wish injury on a professional and will want to see the Belgian back and playing as soon as possible.
