Liverpool may not have brought anyone into the club in the January transfer window, however, they did manage to offload one of their players in the final moments of the window.
It is understood that Liverpool will recoup around £1.7millon in wages and fees for the winger.
The Serbia international had fallen out of favour under Jurgen Klopp some time ago and had been frozen out of all first-team activities.
The 24-year-old arrived at the club for a fee of £22.5million when Brendan Rodgers was in charge and failed to make an impression, per Transfermarkt.
Markovic made just 19 appearances for Liverpool before spending a number of loan spells away from the club.
Liverpool will be delighted to have finally offload Markovic from their wage bill.
The Serbian’s future at the club was non-existent as he had been banished from first-team activities under Klopp.
The winger will now be looking to make an impression for Fulham as they look to keep their fight for Premier League survival going.
