Liverpool fans here inside the Football Transfer Tavern are looking up with optimism after reading a story in the Daily Star – which claims the Reds have been given the go ahead to sign Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan in the summer.
The Belgian midfielder is also a target for Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United but it seems that the Merseyside outfit will beat the Red Devils to this signing.
Nainggolan is renowned for his superb dribbling ability in the centre of the park, and he has firmly cemented himself as one of the best midfielders in Serie A.
As our landlord quips here in the Tavern, it would undoubtedly be a major coup if the Reds managed to complete the signing of the 26-year-old star, and it could help them become top four contenders again next season.
A bunch of Liverpool fans playing pool in the Transfer Tavern feel that beating Manchester United to the signing would make the whole deal considerably better!
