Liverpool given green light to land French midfielder

Yann M'Vila (Rennes)The Premier League returns this weekend and there is high sense of anticipation in the Football Transfer Tavern ahead of the upcoming action.

While attention is on tomorrow’s matches, Jamie Sanderson from Metro pops into the bar to give Liverpool fans news that target Yann M’Vila is eager to play in the Premier League amid a potential loan bid from the Anfield club.

The Reds are not the only club looking at the 23-year-old Rubin Kuzan midfielder with Napoli also consider taking the French international on loan.

Despite this, it appears that M’Vila would rather play in England with agent confirming Premier League interest in his client.

“I think many players dream of playing in the Premier League – Yann is no different,” said Werner Baader.

“I will not deny there is interest from many European clubs, including English teams.

“We will see what happens.”

It is our landlord who is on hand to remind us that M’Vila was recently in attendance during the Merseyside derby with Everton at Anfield and that this had previously led to suggestions that a move to Anfield is in the offing.

Things have been relatively quiet on this potential transfer since then but it seems to us that his agent is now trying to stir Liverpool back into action by stating his client’s desire to play for the Reds.

We’ll be keeping a eye close over this one and letting you know if anything changes before the window shuts in 21 days’ time.

Does the French ace fit the bill at Anfield? Let us know your thoughts below.
