Liverpool fans have had plenty to talk about in the Football Transfer Tavern of late and sources at talkSPORT reckons there could be another new arrival shortly.
The Reds have been chasing Sevilla left back Alberto Moreno for the majority of the summer, but were seemingly priced out of a move.
But following the £75 million sale of Luis Suarez last week, Brendan Rodgers has extra money to spend and the Spanish defender is back on his radar.
The 22-year-old featured prominently for Sevilla last season as they went on to win the Europa League and manager Unai Emery admits he is prepared for the talented youngster to depart the club this summer.
He told Estadio Deportivo: “I see him as a Sevillista, and hopefully he will stay at Sevilla. We count on him, I hope to improve Alberto, he took a major leap and we have to work with him to help him to continue to improve.
“If something comes up during the transfer market we are prepared for any eventuality.”
Meanwhile, striker Iago Aspas will be moving in the opposite direction, joining Sevilla on a season-long loan from Liverpool.
The Spaniard only joined Liverpool a year ago in a £7.7 million move from Celta Vigo but failed to establish himself at Anfield.
