Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern will be looking ahead to their Champions League final with Real Madrid at the weekend and will be boosted by the news that they have just received.
The Anfield outfit have played well throughout the competition and will feel confident about their chances of lifting the trophy in Kiev and will be feeling better about their chances.
The Independent are claiming that Emre Can has returned to training and could feature for the Reds in what will likely be his last game for the Merseyside outfit. The German midfielder is expected to join Serie A side Juventus in the summer on a free transfer, which has disappointed a number of the locals.
The midfielder, who has been omitted from his national team’s World Cup squad, has not played since the middle of March with a back injury but his return could prove to be a major boost to Jurgen Klopp’s sides chances.
The Liverpool fans in the Tavern will be delighted that Can could be available for their Champions League final, especially with the injuries the Anfield outfit have suffered this season.
The likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Adam Lallana have sustained big injuries, but the latter is getting fitter, whilst Can could also be available from the bench, should they need to readjust their midfield during the tie.
