Liverpool look to have completed all their transfer business regarding incomings already as the deadline fast approaches.
At the present time of writing, Liverpool have spent the most money on new players in the Premier League so far, with around £164m spent on their latest recruits (via Transfermarkt).
That did include the then-world-record signing of Alisson Becker with Naby Keita, Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri also joining him at Anfield.
Rumours were rife throughout the summer that Olympique de Lyonnais’ Nabil Fekir was on their radar, however, it now appears that the Reds will be heading into their Premier League opener with West Ham United with the group of players they already have, as interest in the player has cooled, according to a Sky Sports journalist Vinny O’Connor, via The Daily Star.
Liverpool will be pleased with their business this summer as they have managed to address the areas they feel were needed.
A goalkeeper was a main priority for the Reds during the window and they will be delighted to have landed Alisson from AS Roma.
However, with the pace of the transfer market and as the hours quickly dwindle away, it would not come as a surprise if Klopp and Liverpool did decide to dip back into the market.
