Liverpool believe financial might will stop Salah leaving

Liverpool have been a dominant force in the Premier League in the current campaign as they continue to challenge for the title, but Manchester City are constantly piling on the pressure.

The Reds have the perfect opportunity to secure an elusive piece of silverware under Jurgen Klopp, with consistency being the main focus from here on in until the end of the season.

Interestingly, supporters received a huge boost recently as Liverpool believe their financial might will prevent Mohamed Salah following Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho out of the Anfield exit door, according to the Express.

Liverpool are no longer a selling club and Klopp has made Anfield a final destination as opposed to a stepping stone.

Indeed, a financial source told the Express: “Liverpool are no longer a selling club. After posting profits of £125m they can resist any offers.”

Of course, the Reds were never going to want to sell their star man and it appears as if the financial side of things will mean that they won’t even need to consider it, so things are looking extremely positive.

THE VERDICT:

Mohamed Salah, who is valued at £135 million (by Transfermarkt), has been influential in the current campaign as he continues to spearhead Liverpool’s title push. And, the attacker was influential last season for the Reds, so it comes as no surprise that they have no intention of selling him in the summer transfer window.

Indeed, hearing that Liverpool believe their financial might will prevent Salah from leaving comes as a huge boost for supporters, as the last thing they’d want to see is Salah leaving.
