Liverpool have plans to agree fresh terms with another talented player – report

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern were pretty pleased when their side confirmed that Ben Woodburn had signed a new deal with the club. The Welshman has been in fine form over the last few months, particularly for his country, and he is certainly boasting a very bright future. However, he isn’t the only talented young Liverpool player – and another deal could be on the cards in the future for another top youngster.

According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are planning to offer young Rhian Brewster a lucrative new contract next year when he turns 18-years-old. The player, it is said, is expected to sign on – which would be a massive boost for the Reds.

Brewster has made waves over the last few weeks with his fantastic performances for the England under-17s, having bagged back-to-back hattricks for his country in the World Cup finals.

A lethal goalscorer, a talented playmaker and an expert technician, Brewster certainly has a very bright future, and if he keeps putting the ball in the back of the net for his country then Jurgen Klopp will find it very tough to ignore him.

He’s likely to have no shortage of suitors, and so agreeing a fresh long-term deal makes a lot of sense.

Landlord’s Verdict

Brewster, like Woodburn, has made his name for his country – but his real future lies with his club.

Liverpool are crying out for a bit of magic at present, and so if things keep going poorly, the likes of Brewster and Woodburn could quickly find themselves in Jurgen Klopp’s plans.

He’s got a long way to go, of course, but with all parties seemingly keen to sign on and with the forward continuing to impress,  this makes a lot of sense.
