Liverpool's start to the season has shown that after their heavy summer spend, they're ready to contend for the league title this year.

The Reds have made it three wins out of three and so far haven't really looked like they've got out of third gear. With Naby Keita in midfield, that devastating front three going forward and a world-class goalkeeper at the back, Liverpool might just have one of the best squads in Europe.

Speaking of which, the Champions League draw was made last night and Liverpool were placed in a group with Napoli, PSG and Red Star Belgrade. On the face of it, it would seem that PSG are the favourites qualify top but Liverpool should be confident that they can go through as group winners.

The Breakdown

Yes, PSG do have Kylian Mbappe, Cavani and Neymar going forward, Liverpool themselves have a front three that can score goals against any side. If the Reds can at least get a draw away and win the return league that would surely put them in the driving seat for the group.

Napoli will pose a problem and have started the season surprisingly well under Carlo Ancelotti but in reality, Liverpool should have too much for the Italian side, although it will be tough.

Red Star will be a tough away game but Klopp should expect to take six points off the Serbian side. All in all, it will be tough but Liverpool still have a good chance of finishing top in the group.
