Middlesbrough will be desperate to enjoy a rich vein of form after the international break as they go on in search of an automatic promotion place.
Boro can’t afford too many more slip-ups if they are to secure promotion to the Premier League this season, with plenty of teams around them starting to build up ahead of steam. Although, it appears as if one of the club’s stars is attracting interest, as according to The Sunday Express (print edition, page 41, November 18, 2018) (via HITC), Liverpool are interested in signing Dael Fry.
It has been reported that the Premier League club are monitoring the 21-year-old defender and are compiling a dossier on the youngster.
And, it’s been claimed that Liverpool have watched Middlesbrough as many as six times recently.
The central defender has been one of the standout performers for Boro this season and has a very bright future ahead of him, so it comes as no surprise that the Reds are keeping tabs.
Dael Fry is arguably one of the most promising defenders in English football and has already enjoyed some success at international level, with a move to the Premier League being just rewards for his efforts.
Boro will struggle to hold onto the youngster in the January transfer window as a move to the top-flight of English football could be too hard to turn down, with the opportunity to really develop under Jurgen Klopp.
