Fans are starting to fill up the Football Transfer Tavern but it’s domestic football they are discussing at the moment.
As according to The Mirror, Merseyside giants Liverpool are tracking the movements of Ivory Coast international and Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony.
Bony saw his side crash out of the World Cup last night after a late penalty from former Celtic striker Giorgios Samaras earned Greece a 2-1 win and a place in the next round.
He will be heading back home in the following days but it still remains to be seen whether he will be in South Wales next year after his agent revealed he wants to play for a top-six European club.
The Swans are expected to secure the signing of former Lyon striker Baftembi Gomis in the coming days after the French striker’s contract at the Stade Gerland expired.
It could pave the way for Bony to leave with Tottenham and Arsenal also interested but no formal approaches have yet been made.
Liverpool fans. Have you been impressed enough by Bony this summer to warrant a move to your club? Let us know your thoughts below.
