Liverpool currently find themselves at the top of the Premier League table after securing all three points against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium yesterday.
The Reds will be desperate to extend their lead at the top of the table to really pull away from Manchester City, with the Premier League title now in their hands. Although, it appears as if the Merseyside club are looking at a possible addition at the moment, as according to L’Equipe (via The Mirror), Liverpool are keen on securing Adrien Rabiot.
Interestingly, the Frenchman is out of contract at the end of the season and Liverpool are reportedly keen.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have reportedly made contact with PSG over midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
However, the 23-year-old has attracted interest from Barcelona over the past few months, so they could face stiff competition in the race to secure his services.
PSG are eager to tie him down to a new contract but talks have so far proven unsuccessful.
It looks as if Liverpool have stepped up their pursuit of the defensive midfielder, having made contact with PSG.
Rabiot has secured six caps for the French national team, which just goes to show how talented he really is when you consider the amount of quality that France have at their disposal.
The Reds currently have a number of midfielders at their disposal, but the 23-year-old would offer something different as a defensive-minded midfielder that has the ability to intercept, control the game and play defence-splitting passes from the middle of the park.
