Liverpool: Kevin Campbell urges Reds target to snub Anfield in favour of Arsenal

Former Premier League striker Kevin Campbell has urged Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma to turn down Liverpool in favour of a move to Arsenal.
Campbell urges Bissouma to consider London
The 24-year-old has been on the radar of Jurgen Klopp since the beginning of the month as the German tactician is considering making a bid in January (via talkSPORT).
From 15 Premier League appearances, Bissouma has averaged a match rating of 6.91, which includes a pass success rate of 85.9% and 3.2 tackles (Whoscored), and was previously described as “incredible” by his manager Graham Potter.
Despite this, Campbell, formerly of the Gunners, has urged the former Mali international to turn down Anfield and consider a move to the Emirates instead.
He told Amazon Prime Video Sport: “I think Arsenal could do with a player like him for sure.
“Thomas Partey needs a partner in midfield with energy and he would fit the bill perfectly.”

Transfer Tavern Verdict
It is a big call for Campbell to make. But then again, perhaps he is just looking out for his former side.
Any offer from Liverpool would be difficult for any player to turn down, simply because of what they have achieved over the past few seasons and where they currently sit in the league standings. Whereas Arsenal, no disrespect, sit 13th after a poor start to their campaign and are not playing Champions League football.
That being said, Klopp may not guarantee game time for Bissouma if he chooses to go in for the Seagulls middle man and it would be understandable if the player only moved to a club where he thought he would play regularly.
