Liverpool could look to improve their defence in the summer transfer window with one man being heavily linked with a possible move to Anfield.
Matthias Ginter has been touted to reunite with Jurgen Klopp at The Reds recently, per Calciomercato, and it appears he could command a rather large fee.
According to a report by TEAMtalk, the 25-year-old enforcer carries a valuation of €50million (£42.88m), which they claim Liverpool could be more than happy to pay.
Klopp already knows the defender well from their time together at Borussia Dortmund, although things did not go well for Ginter.
He has since impressed with his performances for Borussia Monchengladbach, which is thought to have attracted interest from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur as well.
Although Liverpool arguably have one of the best defences in the Premier League, addressing it with Ginter would certainly help to improve it further.
There have been doubts regarding Joel Matip and with both Dejan Lovren and Joe Gomez having to spend a significant period of the season on the sidelines.
The fact that Klopp knows Ginter well, and the player has since vastly improved, the £43m they may have to spend on him could turn out to be a steal in the future.
