Liverpool have been nothing short of dominant in recent times in the Premier League as they continue to hunt down an elusive trophy under Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds still face an uphill task with Manchester City constantly piling on the pressure but Wednesday’s Manchester derby could tilt things in Liverpool’s favour.
What’s the News?
It’s understood that the Morocco international could be available at the bargain price of £25 million ($32.5m).
However, the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City are all interested.
Hakim Ziyech really has made a name for himself in the current campaign as one of the hottest topics in the whole of European football. He’s produced a whopping 39 goals and assists (19 & 20 respectively) in all competitions, which even makes Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane’s stats look rather boring.
Liverpool have been crying out for a replacement for Coutinho as creativity levels in the final third have been rather low in the current campaign, so a move for Ziyech would be perfect.
He could be the man to finally replace Philippe Coutinho as they both operate in the same position and he’s shown that he can create and score an incredible amount of goals. Indeed, he glides past defenders and his passing ability could work absolute wonders at Anfield, with the likes of Salah and Mane constantly making runs in behind.
Of course, with lots of clubs interested in him it’s going to be difficult to secure his services, but there’s definitely a starting spot for him in the Liverpool side if he makes the move.
Liverpool fans, surely securing a deal for Hakim Ziyech must be the main priority? Join in with the discussion below by sharing your thoughts with us.
