Liverpool lining-up move for world-class goalkeeper

Marc-Andre Ter SteganLiverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern for our curry night are excited by the prospect of a massive addition this summer, as they send poppadom crumbs flying everywhere whilst they debate these reports.

Spanish outlet Fichajes state Liverpool are ready to move for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegan again at the end of the season, with the Catalan giants seriously considering selling the German ace.

The Reds want a top-class goalkeeper to replace Simon Mignolet, who is no favourite of the fans in the bar, and Ter Stegan is top of Jurgen Klopp’s summer wish-list.

Liverpool are desperate to land the 23-year-old and whilst Barcelona rate him very highly, Luis Enrique is said to be extremely unhappy with the German international‘s behaviour in recent months.

Ter Stegan, who won the treble with Barcelona last season, has found first-team football difficult to come by this term due to competition from Chilean international Claudio Bravo, who is regarded as first-choice at the Nou Camp.

Should the situation not improve, then Ter Stegan making a move to the Premier League is very likely but our landlord believes he will demand Champions League football- which Liverpool won’t be able to offer.

Liverpool fans, should you go all our for Ter Stegan this summer? Let us know in the comments below!
