Our resident Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are in an incredibly downbeat mood, after a depressing few weeks for the team!
Young Belgian frontman Divock Origi may only be 20 years of age but he has already been a shining light in a World Cup campaign, and become well accustomed to the loan market.
After a stellar performance at the World Cup in Brazil last year, heading the attack of a star studded golden generation Belgian team, Origi was snapped up by Premier League outfit Liverpool.
However he was loaned immediately back to his old club Lille in France, and now after finally arriving on Merseyside, the youngster could be set to go out on loan once more.
Origi, who impressed in Brazil, has only managed to make one appearance this term for the Reds, and that was off the bench.
The Daily Star are now reporting that three potential clubs, Stuttgart, Bordeux and Norwich are thought to be interested in a January loan move for the marginalised star.
Our resident Reds fans enjoying a pint here in the Transfer Tavern feel that Origi could benefit from a loan move away from the club, but wouldn’t be too bothered if he did decide to stay!
