Liverpool make contact about Adrien Rabiot

Liverpool are thought to already be in contact about a move for a possible free agent next summer.

According to a report by ESPN, the Reds are believed to have already spoken to the mother and agent of Paris Saint-Germain’s Adrien Rabiot about a possible move to Anfield.

The midfielder’s current deal with the Ligue One outfit expires next summer and he is yet to pen a new deal with the club, having already rejected a number of offers that have been made to him.

He has been heavily linked with a move away from the French capital and now it appears that Jurgen Klopp is desperate to avoid the queue and snap him up before anybody else has the chance to.

The 23-year-old could make a switch to the Premier League side in the summer, as he has previously admitted that he used to watch Liverpool when he was younger, giving the Reds an advantage over others.

The Verdict:

There is no doubt that Rabiot will be in huge demand come January, should he have not agreed to sign a new deal with PSG.

And, with Klopp’s desire to bring the £45million-rated midfielder, as per Transfermarkt, they will be hoping they can convince him to make a move to the Premier League and join them.

However, there is still plenty of time between now and the turn of the year, but with Liverpool having already made movements, there will be some encouraging signs moving forward.
