Our punters cannot wait to hear the latest claim from the Daily Star here in the Football Transfer Tavern.
They claim that highly coveted Arsenal full back Bacary Sagna has received his first offer in his search for another club.
As one of our punters reminds us, the full back is leaving the Emirates Stadium out of choice, and is looking for a move to a club in the Premier League.
Luckily for Sagna, he has several clubs who are tracking him, including Manchester City and Chelsea, but it is Liverpool who have made the first move to sign him.
The player is believed to have been told of a substantial offer from the Reds for his services and is now thinking this over, whilst hoping more offers will roll in while a bigger wage packet can be negotiated.
Arsene Wenger was keen to tie the player down to a new deal, but with his desire to leave so strong, it became clear the Frenchman would have to start looking for a new right back.
Sagna is of course able to leave on a free in the summer, and the fact that he will not cost anything is of course a huge plus for his suitors.
Will Sagna swap the red of Arsenal for the red of Liverpool? Let us know your thoughts below.
