The 18-year-old talent has only played 39 minutes of Premier League football for Alan Pardew’s side but already the winger – who is being compared to Raheem Sterling – is linked with a move away according to the Daily Star.
Aarons has burst onto the Premier League scene in stunning fashion this season following his switch to Tyneside from Bristol City in 2012 and has now forced his way into Alan Pardew’s plans.
He first caught the attentions of Manchester City when he scored and assisted another against German side Schalke during pre-season.
Speedy attacker Aarons then produced a lively cameo against Manchester City on his league debut to further impress Manuel Pellegrini, before scoring against Crystal Palace last Saturday.
The Jamaican teenager is now being lined up to make his first Premier League start when the Toon Army take on Southampton in a week’s time.
