Liverpool are level on points at the top of the Premier League this evening, after seeing Manchester City dismantle Chelsea at the Etihad.

The Reds are still looking like favourites to win the league, with a game in hand over their nearest rivals, but the title race is going to be a close one, and as neutral fans here in the Tavern, we are loving every minute of it.

Jurgen Klopp chose not to add to his ranks in the January window, but news has emerged today courtesy of the Express that Klopp could well be targeting a move for Leeds United starlet, Jack Clarke.

The teenager has been in fine form for the Championship side this term and has broken into the XI on a regular basis, attracting plenty of admiring glances for his fine displays and equally as impressive raw talent.

We here in the Tavern think Clarke has quite the future ahead of him, and we see the move to Liverpool as one what makes plenty of sense for the youngster.

While he might not be a regular, the chance to learn from some of the best wide forwards in the world like Mo Salah and Sadio Mane could be too good a chance to pass up, and Clarke will be fully aware of what they bring to the table.

His pace, trickery, and ability to deliver from wide areas make him the ideal player for Klopp's system at Anfield, and while Leeds will be desperate to keep hold of their star youngster, money can talk.

It's an opportunity Clarke really should not be passing up on, and he'd be a fool to pass up such a chance.

Leeds and Liverpool fans, what do you think? Should Clarke move? Let us know in the comments!
