The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have spent the morning discussing who might leave the club today…
After all, the Reds are currently embarking on a really poor run of form – and something has to give. A few of the more cynical Liverpool fans in the Tavern have been calling for a number of players to be moved on – and no name has been brought up more than Mamadou Sakho’s.
Frozen out by Jurgen Klopp this term, Sakho’s Liverpool career looks over – and it would appear as though Jurgen Klopp is in agreement.
According to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, Liverpool have named their price for Sakho – and the number that they want is £20 million.

This report comes amidst suggestions that the likes of Southampton and Crystal Palace are keen on the defender, though the £20 million price tag could be enough to put most suitors off, at least for the time being.
The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern definitely want to see Sakho depart this month, though they think that Klopp will struggle to get £20 million for him. After all, he hasn’t featured at all domestically this season, so there will be a number of question marks over his fitness, especially for a side like Crystal Palace – who are battling relegation.
A powerful, quick defender – on his day, Sakho is unstoppable, but his current position within the Liverpool setup is precarious, to say the least.
