Liverpool have been an impossible force to stop for any side in the Premier League this season and should their form continue, title ambitions may no longer be so far-fetched.
Jurgen Klopp has a quality set of players at his disposal and he is quickly getting the best out of each and every one of them. With a much tighter defence as well as more goals being scored recently, Liverpool look a side capable of challenging anyone in world football right now.
With plenty of games still to play though, the German boss needs to ensure he has a strong squad should the need for rotation become apparent.
In the striker role, the Reds have Roberto Firmino as their star man but should anything happen to the Brazil international, Daniel Sturridge has proven to be temperamental with injuries and Divock Origi will shortly leave the club, meaning Liverpool must find another top forward.
One could most certainly be found in Zenit’s Sebastian Driussi and Liverpool must look at him as star quality off the bench.
Driussi, who is valued at £10.8 million on Transfermarkt, has been performing extremely well so far this season, even outdoing his record of assists last season, (6) in just 16 appearances this time around.
The 22-year-old has hit four goals and eight assists so far and has been the versatile player Zenit have loved turning to. Already he has played on either side of the wing and as a centre-forward, proving once again he can do a job wherever on the pitch.
With the amount of games that Liverpool will be playing this season, it won’t be long before they need a player of Sebastian Driussi’s quality to turn to in rotation.
