Liverpool fans can be pretty happy with the club's transfer business this summer.

With Alisson, Shaqiri, Fabinho and Naby Keita, Klopp now has the squad ready to challenge City for the title and finally win a Premier League title for the club.

With £163.98 million spent this summer, Liverpool's starting XI might just be one of, if not the best in Europe.

While Klopp's business is mostly done, with six days left in the transfer market, the Reds could still be in the market for some added depth. It'll probably take a few departures for the club to bring anyone in but with the possible departures of Markovic, Origi, Ings and Ojo, Liverpool might have some free spots to fill.

To fill those spots, The Mirror via Inside Futbol, is reporting that Liverpool will battle Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal for Shakhtar Donetsk forward Bernard.

The Breakdown

The former Brazilian prodigy is a free agent following the expiration of his contract with the Ukranian club and wants to make the move to England.

Highly rated when he was playing for Atletico Mineiro, Bernard has spent five years in Ukraine but has never fulfilled the potential he showcased in Brazilian.

His goalscoring record at the club isn't fantastic, six being the highest he's managed in a season albeit in 18 games. However, the 25-years-old who's a free agent could provide another attacking option off the bench during a long hard Premier League campaign.

He may not be an incredible talent but under Klopp's tutelage, Liverpool may have found a cheap backup for their forward line.
